Caravan business lodges plans for new office and change of use

Plans were submitted to Breckland Council for to create a sales office at the Vault, in Dereham. 

The application also included plans for the change of use for some of the site from the storage to the sale of used caravans.

The Vault currently operates as a secure storage facilities for caravans and motorhomes and can be found next to Greentree Caravan Stores.

The applicant, Neil Greentree, who is the managing director for Greentree Group, said the change of use will help the business next door, Budget Caravans, which sells second-hand caravans. 

He said the application was initiated for “housekeeping” purposes and will allow the businesses to work in conjunction with each other.

Mr Greentree said: “This is a natural progression and we’re just responding to demand in the market. It’s really just a bit of housekeeping.”

He also confirmed the Vault will continue to serve as a secure storage site.

He said: “The Vault has absolutely found its place in the market and it’s because the security is absolutely solid.”
