Women’s safety has been a long-standing issue that the government has been forced to address, with police chiefs calling the rise in cases against women a “national emergency.”

Last month, official police figures revealed that the number of recorded offences, including stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and domestic violence, had grown by 37% in the past five years.

Statistics also show that half of all women and one in seven men do not feel safe walking alone at night.

But one founder, Ina Jovicic, who knows this feeling all too well, is trying to solve this issue through her yet-to-be-released hardware company, eNOugh.
