Longtime technology transfer expert at the University of Bristol Sophie Collet has joined the University of Bath as director of its commercialisation arm, Research and Innovation Services.
Collet spent almost 22 years at the University of Bristol in various research commercialisation roles. She was most recently director of strategy, information and operations at the UK university.
Collet’s new role will be instrumental for the University of Bath’s ambitions to grow its international, national and civic reputation for research, said the university in a LinkedIn post on the hire.
