After starting as Euro 2024 favorites to triumph, England will hope to beat underdog status and lift the trophy at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Gareth Southgate was under heavy criticism until England reached the final, as his boys were self-sufficient throughout the tournament. On the other hand, Spain didn’t fail to impress, as they managed to build a solid case for themselves thanks to convincing performances against Croația, Italy, Germany, and France.

My Spain vs. England predictions have you covered for the three best prop picks ahead of Sunday’s championship match. Find out more in our Euro 2024 picks for July 14.

Best Spain vs England prop bets today

Prop bet #1: Goals galore

In both Euro 2024 semi-finals, there were at least two goals scored in the first half. England and the Netherlands were drawing 1-1 after 18 minutes in their semi-final, while Spain were already 2-1 up by the 25th minute against France. Teams are acutely aware of the high stakes at this late stage of the tournament, so they try to maximize their attacking potential in the first half, often becoming more speculative in the second.

The reduced risk-taking in the second half is also due to the immense physical effort the players are enduring. Playing an average of 60 games at the highest level in club football is utterly demanding, and the extra pressure and exertion at the Euros add significantly to that.

Both Spain and England have fantastic attacking players, so both managers will rely on their freshness in the first half to make an impact.

Prop: Over 1.5 first-half goals (+260 at Betano)

Prop bet #2: The Saka Dynamite

Bukayo Saka has been consistently dangerous on the right side of the attack, creating chances without fully capitalizing on them. On one of his better days, he can be Spain’s biggest problem.

This game should be a special occasion for Saka, more so than for other players. He missed one of the penalties in the shootout against Italy in the final of Euro 2020, where Squadra Azzurra triumphed dramatically.

Saka has enormous potential, and he will be aided by the fact that his direct opponent will be Spain’s Marc Cucurella, a familiar Premier League face. Saka has always performed well against Cucurella on the flank, and at +800 to shoot at least twice on target against Spain, the star winger is hard to ignore in the latest props market.

Bukayo Saka prop: 2+ shots on target (+800 at Betano)

Prop bet #3: Question Marc

Although Cucurella hasn’t been booked yet at Euro 2024, he hasn’t faced Saka in any competition this year.

The Spanish defender received yellow cards in both matches against Arsenal last season when Saka was his direct opponent. French referee François Letexier, who will officiate in Berlin on Sunday evening, also has a reputation for leading with authority.

With Cucurella’s strengths primarily focused on the attacking side of the game, a direct opponent like Saka can expose his defensive weaknesses. There is a strong probability of tough confrontations on the flanks in this game, which could easily lead to bookings on Sunday.

Marc Cucurella prop: To get booked (+245 at Betano)
