England finalise their preparations for Euro 2024 against Iceland on Friday night at Wembley Stadium (7.45pm, Channel 4).

The primary reason for Foden’s improvement was the increased activity of his shooting, registering at least one effort on goal in 32 of his 35 Premier League games. His accuracy was also notable, especially in the climax of the season, putting one effort on target in nine of his last 10 matches.

The Three Lions’ strength entering the Euros revolves around their midfield and forward line, while Jordan Pickford has been one of the most reliable keepers at international level for over six years.
