TODAY, Aberdeen’s Absoft Limited, a UK-based SAP implementation and managed services company, announced its acquisition by Applexus Technologies Inc, a global SAP services provider.
Applexus is a global technology leader specialising in SAP Advisory and business transformation services with a strong focus on delivering business value to its clients. It has delivery centers across the US, Canada, UK, India, and Sri Lanka, with over 500 consultants. As part of the new entity, Absoft will assume the lead role for driving growth in the UK and Europe.
The combined entity will create a differentiated provider in the SAP space with:
- A comprehensive set of services across SAP S/4HANA, analytics, private & public cloud, HCM/SuccessFactors, SAP BTP, and other technologies.
- Industry-aligned SAP solutions, S/4HANA implementation accelerators and services for customers in retail, fashion, consumer goods, oil & gas, manufacturing, rail, logistics, and public sector.
- Global delivery capabilities with over 600 staff across the USA, Canada, UK/Europe, India, and Sri Lanka.
- A complementary set of IP solutions for SAP customers.
The combination is a game changer for S/4HANA transformations, bringing together unique IP assets. Applexus CeleRITE, an AI-powered platform that automates the migration of code, configurations, data, and security for fast S/4HANA migrations, will benefit from Absoft’s DATAMA solution, which allows customers to migrate only necessary data, including historical data, a major challenge in S/4HANA migrations. The combination enables customers to accelerate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through automated selective transitions.
By joining with Applexus, a market leader in SAP Data & Analytics with expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAC, and best-in-class cloud analytics platforms, Absoft significantly strengthens its analytics offerings for the UK and European market.
