It’s a day of knockout action on Saturday with cup finals in England, Scotland and France.

Lyon take on PSG in the final of the French Cup, while a Manchester derby between City and United is the FA Cup showdown at Wembley.

There is a bonus Old Firm contest this season too with Celtic and Rangers going head-to-head in the Scottish Cup clash at Hampden Park and we have selections in all three of those matches.

Bet of the Day

Bet of the Day – Man City to win & over 3.5 goals @ 31/20

The fact that the FA Cup final is a Manchester derby gives it the feel of a competitive contest, but location aside these City and United teams are miles apart.

City won their final nine Premier League games of the campaign to wrap up a fourth consecutive title and the brilliant Citizens appear almost unstoppable. Pep Guardiola’s side scored 35 goals in their last nine matches of the season and it’s difficult to see an injury-hit United defence standing firm.

City have won five of the last six league derbies between the teams by 2-0, 4-1, 6-3, 3-0 and 3-1 scorelines and there really isn’t anything to suggest the Red Devils can stay competitive at Wembley.

Erik ten Hag may be taking charge of the team for the final time but his men have won only three of their last 13 matches inside 90 minutes and even Championship side Coventry hit three goals against the Red Devils in their FA Cup semi-final.

Backing Manchester City to win and over 3.5 goals in the match looks the best way to side with a dominant Citizens victory.

Special of the day

Longshot of the Day – Rangers to beat Celtic @ 11/4

Celtic deserve to be favorites to win the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park, but their price looks a little too short and Rangers are a value bet to upset their Glasgow rivals.

The Gers are yet to win an Old Firm contest this season, but they had double the expected-goals tally of Celtic when losing 1-0 at Ibrox in September. The Light Blues again came out on top on xG numbers when Leon Balogun was sent off in a 2-1 defeat at Parkhead in December.

John Lundstram was dismissed in their latest 2-1 loss to Celtic, but Rangers look a fair bet to complete a cup double if they can manage to keep a full team on the field at Hampden.

Longshot of the day

Special of the Day – Lyon v PSG over 3.5 goals @ 11/8

Lyon and PSG meet in the final of the French Cup and it’s a game that could go goal crazy.

There were 10 goals in the two Ligue 1 meetings between the cup finalists this season, with Lyon losing 4-1 on both occasions, but the latest of those defeats was extremely unfortunate and Les Gones are in excellent form.

Pierre Sage’s men won seven of their final eight league matches of the campaign, scoring 21 goals along the way, and Lyon look capable of contributing to a high-scoring Stade Pierre Mauroy contest.
