One of the top travel agencies in Scotland is based in Inverness – and that’s official!
Murray Travel has ranked inside the top three for Scotland in the prestigious annual TTG Top 50 Awards.
This year’s ceremony, which was held in Manchester recently, was attended by more than 600 representatives from across the travel sector, who all gathered to celebrate “the outstanding contributions of travel agencies in the UK and Ireland”.
And, as well as finishing inside the top three for Scotland, Murray Travel also achieved the honour of being named inside the top 50 for the whole of the UK and Ireland.

The awards highlight the agencies “commitment to exceptional customer service and expertise”, and Murray Travel said it was delighted to be included in such company and added that it “underscored the unwavering dedication and excellence” demonstrated by the Inverness branch..
Scott Murray, Murray Travel’s co-founder and CEO, and Ross Sharratt, the chief operating officer, represented the agency with with pride at the ceremony.

The TTG Top 50 Awards ceremony was held in the Victoria Warehouse, adjacent to Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, and featured special guest appearances that added to the excitement of the evening. Attendees had the pleasure of meeting treble-winning Manchester United striker Andy Cole, courtesy of headline partner Visit Malta.
Additionally, the audience was treated to a captivating performance by internationally renowned saxophonist and Ibiza mainstay, Ellie Sax, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
