LOCAL printer Langstane Press has invested in a new state of the art Ricoh Pro C7500 Digital Colour Press.
It is said to be the first of its kind in Scotland and fifth in the UK. The printer will unlock new opportunities with existing and new clients. The Ricoh Pro C7500 has been developed to further enable agile commercial printers to adapt to an ever-changing print production environment.
Langstane have previously owned several Ricoh presses and are now looking forward offering customers a limitless range of print possibilities.
The new printer supports up to seven special colours, including white, clear, neon pink, neon yellow, gold, silver and invisible red. With enriched paper handling, it can handle a diverse range of media, from a delicate 40gsm paper up to 470gsm media.
Two years ago, Langstane celebrated 75 years in business, having been established in 1947 as a printer. They still are a family-owned business and have three Scottish locations, their head office is in Aberdeen and there are further branches in Dundee and Livingston.
With an annual turnover of over £18 million this makes Langstane Scotland’s largest independent office products company. They employ 104 staff across the three branches which cover all the main categories of the business including office supplies, office furniture, print and promotional products, workplace solutions and healthcare products.
