Eight Israeli cybersecurity companies traveled to London last week to take part in the Global Tech Connect Cybersecurity Bootcamp and meet with UK stakeholders and partners in the sector. The event was led by Avital Levitzky, Fintech & Cybersecurity Lead at the UK-Israel Tech Hub at the British Embassy in Israel, and in partnership with Global Tech Connect, which unites international initiatives like the Tech Hub and helps startups enter and scale in the UK market.

“The strong relationship between Israel and the UK is rooted in shared values and a mutual commitment to innovation, particularly in transformative fields like cybersecurity and AI,” said Levitzky. “This delegation highlights the vast opportunities for collaboration, fostering a dynamic exchange of expertise to address both current and emerging challenges. Together, we can harness the synergy between our nations to drive forward groundbreaking solutions and shape the future of technology and security.”

During the bootcamp, startups met with companies such as HSBC Innovation Banking, Cyber Club London, Mastercard, and others. They also presented them with their solutions and the partners shared their knowledge and expertise and explored potential for collaborations.

The companies that took part were the following:

  • Twine Security – which equips cybersecurity teams with AI Digital Employees who work alongside them to complete their security objectives.

  • Heqa Security – which safeguards data communication against both present-day cyber threats from sophisticated adversaries and future threats posed by quantum computers

  • Nelysis – which safeguards physical network assets while ensuring operational continuity and cyber security.

  • Plasma Security – which provides a device-level business continuity plan during the preparedness phase and actively prevents downtime during a cyberattack.

  • Scribe Security – which is a software supply chain platform for managing SDLC risk and securing software factory and products from development to deployment.

  • Tope AI – which focuses on API cybersecurity with a mission to protect business continuity by proactively identifying and addressing API threats.

  • Ktrust – which is a Kubernetes Security Posture Management platform that dynamically maneuvers within Kubernetes clusters to explore innovative attack paths

  • Upwind – which is a Cloud Security Platform focusing on Runtime context to reveal the most critical risks and important insights from cloud infrastructure.

“This is the seventh Global Tech Connect Bootcamp. In each of these past programs we’ve had a strong Israeli presence, facilitated by the Tech Hub,” added David Webster, Managing Partner at Global Tech Connect. “We are delighted to play a small part in supporting Israel’s exceptional entrepreneurs understand the UK market, and scale their startups to Britain.”
